Hello there! So lately in class I have been looking at how to use Microsoft excel, so now I have to explain what you can use it for and also a bit of how you can use it...

WHAT IS EXCEL???

 So basically it is a spreadsheet program where you collect up all your information and data.

WHAT CAN YOU USE IT FOR???

You can use excel spreadsheet for ANYTHING, you can use it for work as quite a lot of people do, you can use it for planning parties, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING!!!!!!!

Okay, so I know this probably helped less than anything I have ever blogged about... but at least i wrote something.

What is global warming?

Well the easy way to explain what global warming is that it is the increase of the planet earth's surface temperature due to greenhouse gases.

What are the consequences of global warming?

Some of the consequences of global warming are:

Deadly heat waves

Bad air to breathe

Asthma

Allergies

Really awful diseases

Melting glaciers

More powerful hurricanes and other natural disasters etc...

What can we do to reduce global warming?

Here are only a few hings that will help a great deal:

We can use less air conditioning and heat

Reduce, reuse, recycle

Drive less

Use less hot water

Hello once again fellow bloggers, this is my second post today about using Scratch, yippee (sarcasm).

These are my two scratch commands to get my cat (sprite) to say hello ten times- step one was a whole lot easier to make but it was not very efficient, the second one was a bit harder to create but much,much more efficient. HAVE FUN USING SCRATCH!

Today in I.C.T we have used scratch, we have also learnt what certain words mean, like for example:

Workspace: you will see a screen when you start scratch. this is 
what you use to create your quiz.

Sprites: people, places and things.

Palettes: include all the commands. allow you to control appearance and behavior of your character.

Blocks: the commands that are in the palettes.

Scripts: this controls your sprite by dragging your block into the scripts area to make them move.
if you don't put the block into the script it won't move.

Stage: where all the moving and action takes place.

 Making your own BLOG           20th September 2014

Hey there fellow bloggers- this is my second post- it will teach you how to make your very own blog.

So, you need to have a gmail account and of course if you don't have one then you make one. You do it in a few easy steps.

And after you've made your gmail account you can go onto blogger.com and type in your e-mail, as simple as that. 

I really hope my short but straightforward way of making a blog has helped you!!!
